Practice Contact Staff: Plastic

Well weighted and precisely balanced for contact staff training. These contact staves are designed to look & feel  like your fire contact staff, but with rubber weights instead of Kevlar wicks. This is both more forgiving on the body when training & prevents fraying on your wicks which can cut the life of your fire prop in half!

Technical Info

They are made from 4000-8000 psi ABS plastic in 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch & 1 inch diameter. While sturdy these plastics do have a bounce to them which gets more dramatic the smaller the diameter. This makes impacts from the staff softer than any of our other practice staff materials. Though if you’re trying to get something closer to the feel of our Fire Contact Staff, try going with the Practice Contact Staff: Aluminum, or Practice Contact Staff: Wood.
